First Reflection

Attended a leadership development program at Tata Management Training Center last week. One statement the trainer made had me thinking back on the last few years. Most ambitious over achievers he said tend to make sacrifices for their careers.

First we sacrifice ourselves, then we sacrifice our family and then the job itself.

So why are the over achievers so vulnerable.

There is something that corporates are managing to do very well in getting people slave long days and weekends for that workplace respect. And its Machiavellian.
